Ok, everyone. I need your vote. Are my cakes art or craft? Adam's giving me a hard time about it, and I definitely have my own opinion on the subject. So I'm leaving it up to you. What's it gonna be, ART or CRAFT?
Well I don't want to get in the middle of your argument... but I think of them as edible art. I want to know who thinks which is art and which is craft.
For the record, my ARTSY little wife is the one giving herself a hard time about the CRART debate (thank you John-O for coining that one), I'm just playing Jiminy Cricket to help her through this little mini-crisis =D
And, for the record, my artsy wife is beautiful and awesome and amazingly wonderful.
My opinion might vary a little: I say craft, because I think the word craft encompasses creating something tangible (the baking) and then making it look how you want it to look (decorating). Your cakes rock.
Since when can't crafts be art? I say both!

I would say art...because you have to be an artist to be able to make these! And to me a craft is something anyone could make.
